After doing the research and learning the ins and outs of solar maintenance for ourselves, we decided to start Kings Solar Cleaning, LLC. as a means to provide for our family and because we saw a need in our community. We wanted people to have a better option for getting the most out of their solar investment than simply having to buy more panels or spend more in true-up bills.
As homeowners with solar ourselves, we were shocked the first time we received a large true-up bill from PG&E. It didn’t make sense: when we bought solar, no one mentioned that the panels would get dirty and need to be cleaned or that they would lose efficiency. We didn’t know they needed to be maintained, much less how to maintain them.
That large true-up bill led us to start researching solar panel efficiency and maintenance. We learned that proper maintenance was the key to not only protecting our investment in solar, but also the ticket to keeping it working as efficiently as possible. That meant combating those true-up bills and saving money!
